4. Fikiria kuhusu mambo ambayo yanakupatia furaha na matumaini na jaribu kuweka mkazo kwenye mambo hayo. Kwa mfano, unaweza kuwa na hobi, kama vile kuimba au kucheza mpira wa miguu, ambazo zinaweza kukupa furaha na kukusaidia kupitia kipindi kigumu.

5. Jifunze kusamehe. Majuto yanaweza kusababishwa na mambo ambayo yameshatokea na ambayo huwezi kuyabadilisha. Kusamehe ni hatua ya kwanza ya kujikomboa kutoka kwa mzigo wa hisia mbaya.

6. Tafakari juu ya ahadi za Mungu. Biblia inajaa ahadi za Mungu, na kumbuka kwamba yeye ni mwaminifu kutimiza ahadi zake. Kwa mfano, Zaburi 34:18 inasema, "Bwana yu karibu na wale wenye moyo uliovunjika; huwaokoa wenye roho iliyodhoofika."

7. Jifunze kushukuru. Hata kama mambo yanakwenda vibaya, kuna mambo mengi ya kushukuru. Kila siku ina neema mpya na baraka nyingi, hata kama hazionekani mara moja.

8. Fuata mfano wa Yesu Kristo. Yesu alipata majaribu mengi wakati wa maisha yake, lakini hakukata tamaa. Badala yake, alimtegemea Mungu na kufuata mpango wa Mungu kwa ajili ya maisha yake. Kujifunza kutoka kwa Yesu inaweza kuwa na msaada mkubwa katika kushinda majuto na mawazo ya kujiua.

9. Fikiria juu ya jinsi unaweza kutumika kwa ajili ya wengine. Wakati tunawasaidia wengine, tunaweza kupata furaha na kupata hisia ya kujisikia muhimu. Kujitolea kwa huduma za kijamii, kufanya kazi za kujitolea kanisani, au kuwasaidia watu wa familia au marafiki kunaweza kuwa na matokeo mazuri katika maisha yetu.

10. Mwombe Mungu. Mungu anatualika kumkaribia kupitia Yesu Kristo, na kumweleza shida zetu. Kama Mtume Paulo alivyosema katika Wafilipi 4:6, "Msijisumbue kwa neno lo lote; bali katika kila neno kwa sala na maombi, pamoja na kushukuru, haja zenu na zijulikane na Mungu."
