How to Find Rest in God's Presence: 15 Scriptures of Refreshment 💫
In this fast-paced and chaotic world, finding rest can sometimes feel like an impossible task. We are constantly bombarded with responsibilities, worries, and distractions that drain our energy and leave us feeling weary. However, as Christians, we have access to a source of true rest – the loving presence of God. In His presence, we can find refreshment for our souls and experience a peace that surpasses all understanding. 1️⃣ Psalm 23:1-3 – "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul." Just like a shepherd cares for his sheep and leads them to peaceful places, God desires to provide rest and refreshment for us.
2️⃣ Matthew 11:28-30 – Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites us to come to Him with our weariness and burdens, promising to give us rest.
